Preserve Your Petals is designing a custom Preserved Floral Work of Art for you, created from your fresh flowers to remember a special moment in your life. Each design is unique because the fresh flowers are from a specific time in your life that you will remember. As each life experience is different to you, so are the fresh flowers you bring to us. No two flowers are the same, they are each different. Preserving and designing with each flower can be a challenge and is also very rewarding to us at Preserve Your Petals. Preserve Your Petals has set certain terms and conditions to give you a better understanding of the Preserving and Design Process as well as the Payment Procedure.

  • This is your consent to allow Preserve Your Petals to create your preserved floral work of art using our best judgment with your selections. Preserve Your Petals is authorized to use whatever materials and techniques necessary to properly mount any memento without regard to damage, staining, or reversibility.
  • All Bouquets are disassembled so each flower can be individually pre-treated with solutions that shatterproof, set natural color, and open cell structure. We select the best flowers after the freeze dry process to use in your designs. Flowers not used in the designs will be handed back to the client in a plastic airtight container. Preserve Your Petals reserves the right to substitute matching flowers when needed due to damage of original flowers. Extra charges may occur. You will be notified if these charges are greater than $20.00. Due to Mother Nature, flowers may change color slightly. Color enhancement may be used.
    Ivy Foliages in your fresh flower design will be substituted with silk foliage at no additional charge, if the ivy foliage does not freeze dry properly. Succulents in your fresh flower design will be substituted with faux succulents at an additional charge. Succulents do not freeze dry.
  • Flowers will change color tones over a period of time, taking on a mellower Victorian shading. Keep your Preserved Keepsake out of moist areas (i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, outside porches) and out of direct sunlight to prevent deterioration and pre-mature fading. Use Novus #1 Cleaner or ammonia-free glass cleaner on acrylic domes and apply with a soft cloth.
  • Deposit on Wedding Flowers of $200.00 is required at time of delivery and is non-refundable. The deposit goes towards the price of your display. Design Selection on Wedding Flowers must be made within 30 days of delivery of your fresh flowers. Full payment is required at this time. For Fresh Flowers, other than Wedding Flowers, the Design Selection is made at the time you deliver the fresh flowers. Full payment is due at this time.
  • Design Selection must be made within 30 days after the delivery of your fresh flowers. If after this 30 day period, a design selection is not placed, Preserve Your Petals will contact you to pick up your flowers. Flowers will be placed in an airtight container for traveling and storage purposes. We are not responsible for flowers that are not picked up after a 3 month period. Preserve Your Petals will take limited responsibility for damaged or tossed flowers after this period. Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Once your design is completed, we will contact you. Keepsakes must be picked up within 1 month from the time we contact you. Please call to setup an appointment for pick-up. Any keepsakes not picked up after 3 weeks, will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Preserve Your Petals. If abandoned, the keepsake can then be used for display purposes.
  • In the event of acts of nature, loss of power or machine failure, our liability is limited to refund of the customer’s deposit and/or payment made on keepsakes.
  • We do not ship glass domes or glass containers. If a keepsake is damaged in shipping, you must notify your carrier and Preserve Your Petals within 24 hours. Keep all packaging material. Any authorized returns must be insured for full value.
  • Preserve Your Petals stands behind the quality of our work. If for any reason you have a problem with your keepsake after receiving it, please call us immediately so we can make arrangements to correct the problem. Workmanship and materials are guaranteed for 90 days from the date the keepsake is delivered. All repairs will be done at no cost during this period (shipping not included). Damage due to mishandling is not covered by the warranty. After the warranty period, we will be happy to make repairs at a reasonable cost.
  • Your order serves as your consent to allow Preserve Your Petals or its representatives to use images created of your keepsake display cases for editorial, advertising, contest, and or exhibition usage.

Deposits & Payments

Wedding Flowers:

A deposit of $200.00 (non-refundable) is required to reserve space in our freeze dryer.

We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, Discover and MasterCard. Returned checks will be charged a $30.00 fee. If a check is returned, all future payments will need to be made by cash or credit card.

Deposits are required at the time of delivery of your fresh flowers.
The remaining balance is due at time of Design Selection.

Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from your overall balance.
All sales are final.

Other Flowers:

Full payment is required at the time you deliver your fresh flowers to be preserved. If you are bringing in flowers to be preserved for Anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Proms, Sympathy Work, Etc., you will need to make your design selection at the time you are delivering your flowers to be preserved.

Gown Preservation:

Full payment is required at the time you deliver your gown to us for cleaning and preserving.
